LAS VEGAS — Attendees at the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas were witness to superhero a reunion when the Power Rangers made a sudden appearance on the show floor Tuesday.
Led by the Samurai Power Rangers, previous generations of the iconic Power Ranger teams took over the floor at Mandalay Bay Convention Center announce their venture with Netflix. Starting this week more than 700 episodes from the popular television series will be made available on Netflix’s instant streaming service.Every classic episode from the 17 year run of the world’s most successful kid’s action series will now be available for fans to view at any time. Power Rangers, which was created by Haim Saban, was introduced in 1993 and quickly became the most watched children’s television program in the United States.
On the television show, the group of ordinary young people “morphed” into superheroes and fought the bad guys while emphasizing the importance of teamwork, responsibility and helping others.
In all the Power Ranger’s popularity grew to an audience of more than 60 countries and it was translated into numerous languages.
