ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Felicia Davis, convention services manager at the Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority (ACCVA), was named the 2010 President’s Award Winner by ACOM, the Association for Convention Operations and Management.

Each year, the president of ACOM has an opportunity to recognize a member that has shown continued support and enthusiasm for the association, in special recognition for their volunteer support and efforts towards the betterment of ACOM.

 

Davis has been an ACOM member since 2001, when she started her employment with the ACCVA. As a convention services manager, she assists meeting and convention planners with attendance building, arrangements for temporary staffing, spouse tours, shuttles, special event planning, room blocks and other aspects of bringing their events to Atlantic City.

She is very deserving of it,” said Gary Musich, the ACCVA’s vice president of convention development. “Her involvement with ACOM has added to her industry knowledge, and she consistently exhibits a high level of professionalism. Most importantly, the convention, meeting and tradeshow customers have grown accustomed to her support, professionalism and caring that contribute to their success when they bring their events to Atlantic City.”
