Copper Mountain’s Summer Pavilion caters to large groups and exhibitions seeking stunning venue
COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. — Copper Mountain Resort is opening its summer conference center that enables meeting attendees to immerse themselves in the spectacular scenery of the Colorado Rockies.
Providing a unique setting for Rocky Mountain conventions, the Copper Pavilion is an enclosed structure with large windows providing breathtaking views of the Ten Mile Range. The Pavilion serves as a relaxing setting for summertime exhibitions, general session meetings, receptions or banquets. It is fully heated and air conditioned and features a sport court floor surface.
Available June through September, the 18,000-square foot Pavilion can serve as an exhibition hall accommodating 105, 8-foot by 10-foot booths. Alternatively, it can seat up to 1,500 attendees for other functions amidst The Village at Copper’s unique shopping, dining and entertainment. The Pavilion’s expansive size makes Copper Mountain particularly attractive to large groups who want to ”buyout” the resort.
The Pavilion expands the meeting space in this particular area of the resort to 41,000 square feet, with 16,000 square feet in the Conference Center, 18,000 in the Pavilion and 7,000 in Jacks at Copper One.
Copper’s setting in the Colorado Rockies offers the convenience of a slope side conference village with more than 750 lodging units steps away from meeting rooms. Copper has a total of 68,000 square feet of state-of-the-art meeting space that can accommodate groups of 10 to 1000. The Conference Center is located at the base of the mountain, providing easy access to summer activities and offering meeting attendees ski-in, ski out accommodations in the winter. Other features catering to groups include high-speed Internet access in all meeting facilities and in gold lodging rooms, a full-service business center, signature break experiences, teambuilding events, outdoor activities in winter and summer, free access to the Copper Athletic Club and a full service conference team with a coordinator assigned to oversee all details.
