Conference Center at
Copper Mountain Colorado offers
a unique meeting experience
COPPER MOUNTAIN, Colo. — Not long ago, Colorado was known mainly for its outdoor recreation and offered little for meeting planners. Today Colorado is sprinkled with various resorts looking to tap into the growing meeting and convention industry.
From the resorts and towns of the Rocky Mountains to the big cities of the plains, Colorado is bustling with development, and tourism officials are promoting the wide variety of world-class meeting destinations throughout the state.
Copper Mountain Resort is one of those quaint resorts offering an attractive location with an abundant of choices for both summer and winter gatherings.
Since Vancouver-based Intrawest developed a pedestrian village five years ago, Copper Mountain Resort has established itself as a quality meeting location. The village includes a conference center with 16,000 square feet of indoor space and an adjacent 7,000-square-foot banquet hall.
Copper Mountain Resort recently purchased an 18,000-square-foot portable pavilion that is available for meetings and events from June through early October that sits right next to conference center. With an added tent in the summer and other venues in the village, the total square footage in the village expands to 68,000.
With its intimate setting and various venues, Copper Mountain is well suited for groups as large as 800.
Copper's unique setting, high in the heart of the Colorado Rockies, will inspire meeting attendees and bring it to a new level. The intimate environment of its conference facility allows each group to receive VIP treatment instead of getting lost in the crowd. The Copper Conference Center is in the middle of it all — just steps away from the village which features new lodging, restaurants, shops and year-round activities. And Copper offers friendly, customized service. The banquet experience features exceptional culinary creations including mouth-watering feasts made daily from scratch using the freshest ingredients.
Copper Mountain Resort is 75 miles west of Denver and 20 miles east of Vail and is easily accessible from both the Denver International Airport and Eagle County Airport.
The Copper Conference Center is ski-in, ski out - offering attendees easy access to world-class skiing and snowboarding in the winter and mountain activities in the summer. It’s also just steps away from the village which features new lodging, unique restaurants & shops and year-round activities.
