Rowan, who joined Experient in 2004, was promoted from his position of strategic account manager. He will continue to manage a number of clients while dedicating the remainder of his efforts to new account development for the association market.
Versman began her career with Experient in April 2007 as strategic account manager in the Registration, Housing and Lead Business Unit of the company. In her new role, she will also continue account management for some of her existing accounts, and will dedicate the remainder of her time to new account development for the Event Management Business Unit.
Wulfemeyer-Gilfillan joined the Experient Strategic Sales team in April 2009. In her new position, she will provide consultation through account management for select clients while dedicating the majority of her efforts to new account development in our corporate segment.

3D Exhibits adds all-star talent

ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. — 3D Exhibits, an exhibit and event design, fabrication and management agency, has added additional talent to its team of industry all-stars.
Dawn Cornell has been named senior v.p./strategic account executive, and Kay Towles and Lois Robinson have been named sr. account managers. All three will be based on the east coast.
Cornell applies her design and ad agency experience to deliver comprehensive service and management to companies in the telecom, chemical and food industries. She started her 20-plus years in the exhibit industry as a graphics manager at Exhibitgroup-Giltspur, then moved into an executive account management position for a large volume client.
After five years, Cornell was promoted to director of operations. An expert in managing large programs, she partners with her clients’ internal teams or provides complete out-source strategy, planning and implementation for companies without internal exhibit departments. “3D Exhibits’ progressive approach ensures that exhibiting companies benefit from the latest thinking, tools and media. I’m looking forward to being a part of its inspiring team,” says Cornell. She was most recently director of strategic accounts for Art Guild-Avalon.
Towles and Robinson both manage large-scale accounts with a focus on achieving customer objectives.
Robinson started as a services coordinator at Art Guild-Avalon, and was then promoted to logistics manager. She has been a large program account manager for the last six years.
Towles, who has been an account manager for ten years, has a background in services, logistics and production. Both women possess a thorough understanding of the industry and are detail oriented, efficient and responsive. The addition of this team establishes an east coast presence which will enable 3D Exhibits to better service its clients and prospects.

Kenneth D. Romeo hired by Experient
as SVP housing and customer services
TWINSBURG, Ohio — Jeff Price, CEO of Experient, announced that Kenneth D. Romeo has been hired as senior vice president, housing and customer services, responsible for Experient’s Housing Services, Customer Service, Client Accounting and Data Management departments.
Romeo comes to Experient from Cygnus Expositions, where he was vice president of operations since 2002. Prior to that, he held a number progressively demanding roles involving hotel, vendor and facility relationships, registration, housing, exhibitor and attendee services for major industry organizations.

Experient’s Vernon Hills service center, where Romeo will be stationed, has 80 employees and hosts Experient’s largest customer service call center. Romeo replaces Katie Dearborn, who resigned last month for an opportunity outside the industry. He will be relocating from Burnsville, Minn., to work out of Vernon Hills, Ill., which is northwest of metropolitan Chicago.

3D Exhibits names chief strategy officer
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, Ill. — 3D Exhibits, an exhibit and event design, fabrication and management agency, has named Hank Heatly to the newly created position of Chief Strategy Officer.
Heatly, who was most recently director of client and industry insights for Czarnowski, will ensure that strategic planning drives the execution of processes and projects at 3D Exhibits.
Heatly’s focus will be to help direct the transformation and refinement of 3D Exhibits’ operations and products in ways that deliver value to its clients—increasing both efficiency and effectiveness.
