‘Your Message Center’ debuts within ConnectionPOINT

DALLAS — (Oct. 2009) Hanley Wood Exhibitions announced the launch of a new message application: an email center called ‘Your Message Center.’

Marquee features of the email application include the ability to save searches, build and send custom HTML emails through hanleywoodCONNECT, Hanley Wood’s recently re-branded social networking system. The application is accessible through ConnectionPOINT, Hanley Wood’s customizable online portal system for exhibitors and attendees.

Your Message Center is a central location where exhibitors and attendees can read, write, send, archive and/or delete messages received across all Hanley Wood Exhibitions’ events.  Because it is a global product, Your Message Center is available beyond the traditional show cycle, which aligns it well with Hanley Wood’s new initiative to extend the life of all face-to-face events throughout the year.

Currently, Your Message Center is available for use by StonExpo/Marmomacc Americas attendees and exhibitors (www.stonexpo.com). Hanley Wood Exhibitions plans to roll out these new products across all its shows over the next few weeks.

“Hanley Wood Exhibitions continues to be technological pioneers for the tradeshow industry,” stated Nicole Buraglio, Director of e-Media, Hanley Wood Exhibitions.

Previously within hanleywoodCONNECT, exhibitors were limited to sending emails to attendees individually, and this functionality (individual emails) still exists. Exhibitors can now choose to send personalized messages either to individual attendees or can search demographic criteria and send an email to a specific group. Currently, attendees are still limited to sending individual emails to exhibitors.

Hmail, the emails generated through Your Message Center, feature a custom email building ‘wizard’ which walks exhibitors through the step-by-step process of creating and sending unique emails. Exhibitors choose from either a complimentary text only template or an upgraded template containing image capabilities available for purchase via hanleywoodCONNECT.

Exhibitors also have the opportunity to purchase additional emails and instantly use them, through the new application.

Further integrating Hmail with hanleywoodCONNECT is a new functionality allowing exhibitors to search and save groups of attendees based on selected demographics. Exhibitors can save large groups or hand-pick attendees to email on an individual basis.

“The creation of Your Message Center is a win, both for our event participants and the industry. Not only are we facilitating communication beyond the traditional show cycle, we are doing so in an unobtrusive method that preserves the integrity of our own email communications,” continued Buraglio.

A variety of promotional opportunities are also available, such as web banners, lead-generation programs, widgets, webinars, keywords, product categories and much, much more.

DALLAS, TEXAS — (Sept. 2009) Hanley Wood Exhibitions has announced the re-branding of its online networking and marketing system, CONNECT.  Formerly associated with each of its events, the new version is now called hanleywoodCONNECT.

“Re-branding hanleywoodCONNECT allows us to align this product across all our events, as one of many integrated event experience platforms that differentiate Hanley Wood events in the marketplace,” says Nicole Buraglio, Director of e-Media for Hanley Wood Exhibitions.

The design and functionality of the online product has also changed and was released, along with the new logo and tagline.  The new version can be seen on the Remodeling Show web site (www.theremodelingshow.com), and Hanley Wood Exhibitions plans to roll out the re-branding across all its shows over the next few weeks.
